Looks to me like the monument in Ashridge just above a beautifull little village called Aldbury.
Its roughly half way between Aylesbury and Hemel Hempstead.

Hi Jase I was told the difi ventura kit is made by Spada. ?

Look's very good kit.

jasext 17-06-09 20:42

Dont know where you have heard that but difi are a very good make (have a look on their website some top quality stuff),there was a spada jacket that was on the market breifly that was very similar in colour and look but that was about it ,there were no removable liners and the quality was very cheap but they are no longer being sold due copyright laws and people mistaking them for the difi kit

I have had my difi kit for 2 years and must say it has served me very well in all weathers also, i was wearing the jacket on that fatefull day of my argument with a 4x4 and after sliding down the road for a good few yards the only marks were a very small hole in the pocket ,so i am living testimony on the quality of the difi kit and would definetly buy another set

As for the akito kit it seems very good quality for the money but for the bit extra the difi would kit would be on top of my list

Thats the one..... nice little tea hut too, with a fantastic cake selection.... hence the saggy suspension : (

each day to go to work and going home, day by day, same roads.

Had a bad day at work so just had to get on the bike and disappear over the hills. Put the bike into silent running below 4000rpm its almost silent and wafts you along at 50ish, perfect for a chill out run on the back roads.

Stop on the first lane, just have a sit and listen to the quiet, contemplate life in general, 42.

http://i374.photobucket.com/albums/o...62009091sm.jpg

Back on the road, stop for a pic of the North Tyne at Wark.

http://i374.photobucket.com/albums/o...62009094sm.jpg

Head a bit further north, sun is setting making the view of Cheviot Hills off in the distance even better.

http://i374.photobucket.com/albums/o...62009095sm.jpg

Dont really want to stop, enjoying the road too much, but there is mist forming in the low spots of the fields and cant resist a pic. Gets eerie at one place where the mist is running over the field flowing up and over a dry stone wall onto the road mint.

http://i374.photobucket.com/albums/o...62009098sm.jpg

Have a recce of a lane Ive never done before but end up having 20 mins listening to the wildlife, there's an owl screeching off in the trees by the river. Its after 10 and still light but head home.

Great views/description .......... it's nice to get out into the country and just listen.

BTW, are there a lot of three-wheelers around your way that like to go greenlaning? :laughing11:

Barry.

I know, quite rare to find 'three ruts', used to be the norm, outsde ones for the wheels middle one for the hoss, can only assume it gets used by the horsey set.

Made a little mash of clips I filmed today, was testing if it was possible to film with my coolpix still cam (and a tripod I got for 2€ in Greece). Nothing spectacular, just took a spin around the routes close to town. Might be fun to see for the rest of you what kind of roads I'm traveling up here. =)

Glad you liked it! It's a band from my neighborhood, Machinae Supremacy, with a pretty wide spread fan base. Check out their site or myspace.

It's the same type that Jmo just sold, Protaper Contour YZ High, with risers. Have had it for a year and really like it, perfect angle and width for me and it keeps the vibes away.

Stridey 02-07-09 22:34

:031:Great vid Molgan.

Looks like you were having fun off-road on the TKC80 tyres which seemed to cope well.

I need more cooling breeze so it came off for the summer, the engine sounds so much nicer without the screen noise masking it.

The only downside I get a mouth full of flies.

My son has a decent(better than mine) camera from school for his Media Studies project so why not make use of him.:D

jasext 05-07-09 18:34

Looking good ,nice bit off air on the front wheel ,hand just slipped of the clutch tho due to the wet weather i suppose :beer[1]:

deiaccord 06-07-09 15:09

Nice pics indeed, you son did a good job with them

I've got a decent camera, but getting someone who can take decent pics with it is the hard bit, especially if you have the shutter speed slow enough to get some motion blur (panning shots take practice and lots of luck)

burst mode can help luck along a bit, even at slightly slower shutter speeds :002:
