I am a man of many skills i have picked up over the years. Choosing to go into IT was perhaps the worst decision of my life. After being made redundant 5 times in 4 years i decided to leave and instead of high pay enjoying my job was more important

i'm a train driver pretty dull but i enjoy it. (no i never wanted to do it as a kid). used to drive 2000 ton coal trains but now i take joe public where they need to go, hopefully on time http://www.xt660.com/images/icons/icon10.gif. been doing this nearly eighteen years, so i can do little else. could be worse nice air con cab rattle along at 100mph all day alright money, life could be worse

well im in the oil industry working on a oil rig off aberdeen---i hour 10 minutes in helicopter 2 weeks on 2 weeks off--as a chef---**** job but time off great--12 hour shifts--12 hours off cooking for 135 fat guys:moon:

I conduct underwater inspections of oil platforms and pipelines. I spend a lot of time with divers and pilots of underwater inspection robots. The work can be stressful sometimes but I like it.

I think you get a reasonable middle management job, get a nice car, seem to be holding it all togethor and then go completely mad, become an alcoholic. Thats what my family seem to do. :blowup:
