Took this pic a few weeks ago. Had done the annual wash, and with all the dirt gone I'm surprised how mint it looks considering all the abuse. It was -2C that day, now winter is here and season #2 with the Tenere is over. =(

Something that is really sad is that I might have to sell the bike for various reasons.. =(

Hello Jasext

I am looking for a few Acerbis as yours, and see that you have the original weight put since you have done it?

Thank you

Bought mine from www.riderz.co.uk ,you will have to drill the metal piece that the bar ends go through to 19 mm for them to fit

Great pics, but I think you should invest in some side stands. :D

Excellent video, really enjoyed it and it's really good quality and well edited. Can I ask, what equipment and software did you use for filming and editing? I'm planning my adventure for next May and would love to be able to end up with something of that quality.
Thanks and lets see more!

boniyam 20-11-09 10:58

thx for the compliment.
For filming i used a small canon ixus photo camera!
My friend's camera wasn't as good as mine. A liitle pitty.
I wish i would have taken a better real video camera with me.

The editing of the the clips i did last night on my macbookpro 15inch using apple's standard movie editing software: imovie.

Wow, that really is an excellent video! Probaly one of the best non-pro Tenere vid's I've seen so far!

Where/how did you mount your camera for when taking the on-bike video shots?

Also, seeing as between you both you have yamaha engine guards and what looks like a large Touratech Bash plate with toolbox which do you think is better?

boniyam 20-11-09 17:00

thx :-)

We didn't mount our camera anywhere. We must have a steady left hand. :-)
And congratulations to Tony. He is following me on the tarmac in the corners, driving with one hand. Filming meanwhile with his left hand...

the touratech is mine. It's much more expensive but there is actually no need for it. It looks cool. Ok. That's what i love too :-)
But the original plastic protection will do. The original yamaha engine guard from my friend broke already... in Belgium. Yamaha gave another one for free. That one broke also... in Belgium. Maybe 'made in italy' got something to do with it?:icon_geek:

boniyam 20-11-09 17:17

i made some small improvement in the editing part. Now i have to upload it again to youtube. And the URL will probably change. :-(

Meanwhile it's already uploaded and downloadable here: http://gallery.me.com/bonifacius#100635

I must have been a good boy this year!

Look what santa had for me:

Dunlop D739 SNOW.

My 10 is sleeping in the basement at the moment, -20 celsius outside and I have a deep frozen archipelago to explore.
Can't wait to get these badboys on (and maybe some heated grips hrm) and go ice racing! =)

Pinglow 06-01-10 09:44

It's hot here, so I took my Buddy to neighbouring Thailand and Cambodia

Here's Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. Beautiful city!:viking:

GPR exhausts?

Nice weather over there, up here its %&^%.
Grit everywhere, my whole bicycle is starting to rust by now.
Haven't got my bike out since end of November.

Looking forward to the summer holiday, as im going to France.
The outer west tip, near Douarnenez.
Haven't been there since 6 years, so i have a lot of offroading to do.

Yeah! But they are crap. My poppy ones are fading near the Y connecting pipe. You can see it from the pic.
