I'm a Motor car mechanic and forgot more than many others. Served my time about 40 odd years ago. Still working miracles daily. Was a motorcycle instructor for about 8 years but went back to my Snap On tools. Still get job satisfaction after all this time and am fairly hot with the diagnostics which is unusual for an old fart.

Currently employed as a recovery mechanic in the army, been doing this since 91, was previously an infantryman and also had a spell fitting double glazing. my job involves recovering all types of vehicles from quads and landrovers to tanks, i also taught it for 3 years. I love doing my job not sitting on my backside in an office. Next year this will all come to an end and i will have to find other employment! regards, Jim:gbxtank:

I am an area manager (rep) for a roof tile manufacturer ! It has its moments and on the plus side no longer worried about hights and ladders !! LOL

I started my working career off in a mechanical engineering apprenticeship for Leyland DAF trucks, but it wasnt all they made it out to be and in two years of a four year course i had learned f*** all! Scrapped it off and got my snowboard teaching qualifications, worked in switzerland and japan instructing the sport. During summer i work on outdoor activity bases in the UK (PGL). Not so bad, lots of travelling....and of course my XT comes with me wherever possible!

Yes Another Civil Servant. I Run 4 Driving Test Centres. We Do Car, Bike, Heavy Goods And Passenger Carrying Vehicle Tests. I Got 10 Staff And 50,000 Paper Clips. Been Doing It For 21 Years And Am Getting The Hang Of It Now.
But I Would Rather Be Riding My Tenere.
