Some drivers....!
https://youtu.be/RqrDCVtwpFE Taking the scenic route home after a hot knackering day at work, I pull over to let the car behind whizz by....and this is how he thanks me! Apologies for my language! Steve

"Sorry I didn't see you coming up behind me" - what a ridiculous statement. You were blatantly rammed!
You have the evidence. Report the "accident" to your insurance company, which you are obliged to do, especially if you take it further (make sure you do things by the book). Hopefully he has exchanged details with you and notified his insurance company? If he hasn't, then he has broken the law for failure to report an accident (besides willful damage, driving dangerously etc etc.) Report him to the police and make sure a claim goes in against his insurance (if he has it) for something along the lines of new forks and front wheel. |

Doesn't surprise me at all. Drivers don't see you when you ride a batternbergh bike in full on dayglo, with flashing blue lights and two tones blaring away.

There is a sense of immortality that goes with being 'visible' as opposed to 'invisible'. I have to remind myself of the dangers of being visible all the times! That and the crazy chicken like responses from those road users that actually see us!

I agree guys, but. ...it's hard to plan ahead for something like that. I'd already seen him in my mirror, indicated and moved over to let him pass as he was travelling more quickly than I like to down those little lanes. The Tenere is tall and we'll 'lit' and I was at a standstill a safe distance back...I did start to paddle back but too late...I think if I hadn't been blaring the horn he would have hit me even harder...and if I'd been on a tiddly bike or one of the many horse riders down those lanes......Steve
