The Knight 01-07-12 10:13

Hi, everyone

My XT660Z, that I've already been waiting for for over a year (waiting for Santa to arrive), will start its life with me early December 2012.

Until then I voraciously read up about and look at everything pertaining to the XT660Z.

My question: Why are some of the pics not visible to me (something about Domain unregistered. Register at bit.ly/imageshack -domain)?

Regards

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question, but why do you have to wait so long until you are able to get a Tenere and how will you cope for another 6 months!!!???
Btw, I think they prefer you to say Hello in the Newbies section...

Hey! That was my idea!

How does it feel to ride and where did you buy the seat from?

maxwell123455 04-07-12 21:41

Nice nice nice

:088:i want one

Kemizz 04-07-12 22:29

I got it from somebody who found this one to high , so we just swapped seats ! :)

it just feels great , it's high ! , I'm 1.91 meter and I can just touch the ground with my feet , but the bike handles so damn better ! also on pavement , the oem seat is way too soft , which makes you hang on the bike whenever you lean into a corner , now the bike listens to your body when you want it , as the seat is much stiffer then the original one ...

also no more vibrations in the seat , my girlfriend rode a test ride with me and says she doesn't have the vibration anymore she had before , making her ass fall asleep after a few km ... , but she almost never drives along , so that's no problem , so I got rid of the duo footpegs

You are a tall guy! I'm only 1,74 and sometimes I need a strong leg to push the bike back in the line, but I'm not going to install a lowering links! I'm too proud to do that

tacomodo 05-07-12 09:46

pff 191 is not tall, I'm 203 :p

Btw, Kemizz, I can highly recommend SWMOTECH footpegs. You can lower them by 1,5 cm which didn't sound like a lot, but it really helped in my case.
