As I am 'hors de combat' for medical reasons (DVT) I was unable to go to the Donington practice today so I fitted the CCC longs to Blackie.

I fitted a full set of Avon Distanzias and also attempted to fit some rim tape. The tyres are the dogs danglies but the I did not like the rim tape, I dont think I did a very good job of fitting the tape to be honest so I ripped it back off again.

Very happy with the new tyres though, I shall wash the bike in the morning and take some piccies.

Picture added. To be honest I think I am about done now with modifications not that I actually have that many. I have the bike exactly as I want it for now.

you need a DNA stage 2, specially with aftermarket cans, Tony trust me its like having a swimming champion with his neck choked by a tight rope. You need to let the machine breath more.

Pipes fitted, bike washed + polished and coated in ACF50, and my new Touratech gear lever fitted (cant see it in the pic) much beefier than the stock item

Fitted a power comander 3 usb and a dna stage 1 filter (stage 2 on order)

Bought off ebay some Rally-Pro anodised aluminium & plastic handguards �38 inc. and with a bit of imagination fitted Blackie no problem. Have ordered some black ones 'cos these are blue (for Bluey)
