bought a second hand seat and took it to seat works,to make a seat that will be better for my pillion on our touring holiday in June.

Fingers crossed it should be ready in 2 week's time.

Will post a photo then .

Look forward to seeing that dazzer. I faced the same dilema last year and almost did what you have with the saddle, but opted for Airhawk cushions instead, which worked out very well.

Hi Denny

we have a airhawk and they do work very well, the problem leigh as is with the seat angle ,when I brake she is sliding forward.
so I'm having the rear of the seat made higher.
I will post some pic's as soon as I get the seat back .

Well flew back from Luxembourg yesterday afternoon (their for work for a couple of days) to find my pipes that i bought from Fosters Monster waiting for me, link pipes were a bit scabby so gave them a quick lick with the polisher, forgot to do a "Before" pic but they had 15000 miles of use on them so you can imagine what they looked like
Took about 2 hours start to finish, first a fully stitched mop to get rid of the surface rust etc then a calico to bring them up nice and shiny, luckily i have a large bench polisher so its quite easy work really

Cans are fine so will hopefully be putting the pipes on in the next day or so, look forward to the sound of it!

Looking good Chopster! The link pipes take a right battering regarding crap from the chain, road tar etc etc, they looks excellent. I am looking forward to the pictures when fitted, the CCC oval Titaniums are a rare thing indeed.

Chopper 21-05-08 11:34

wont be long and they will be on! was thinking of getting the link pipes ceramic coated so that they last a bit longer, the titanium pipes are as light as feather, i can imagine the stock ones are very heavy, my stoppies will be even higher!

**UPDATE**
Just got off the phone to the ceramic coater i use (Camcoat) it would be 30 to ceramic coat them in either a satin black or a stainless look finish, unfortunately its at least a 3 week wait at the moment so it will not be done now, will have to wait until the next time they look messy

Collected the seat yesterday,it's bright to say the least :sunny:
You can see in the photo how much bigger it is to the standered seat,so we hope it improves the comfort for Leigh on pillion.

were off to try it out now,so we will do a 200 mile ride today to see how it feel's, before we set off next weekend to the black sea.
let's hope it stop's any of this :pjrmoony_1JJHDG:
