I removed my fuelling mod and added a Power Commander III and set the fuel map up. Should make it run nice and smooth.

Fitted a Hyperpro rear spring

And the results? is the rear spring worth doing on the XTX?

Paul Curtis 04-03-11 08:33

I have only been for a short ride on bike after fitting the spring as it was quite late so no results as yet will try to get out over the weekend
was not as bad to fit as i thought only took about 1 hr to do as all the bolts can be accessed without removing the stage 3 filter

Bike looks great apart from that high fender, as you are removing it you are excused! Enjoy it mate.

Did some prototyping with my new custom made alu bash plate, and fixing mounting points for my new alu panniers.

Well its too cold here to ride so I had to find something...

Just been for a good ride to try out the rear spring and i like it i think the bike rides better over the bumpier roads and corners better but i also think it has lowered the rear end a bit 10-15 mm
