I took mine out too fill it up with fuel and ended up doing 140 miles then took it home and washed it cos my scottoiler was turned up too high and my back wheel was horrid!! I love my bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having just recently completed an awesome 2600km/5 day ride around New Zealands South Island I have had to replace my tyres today.I had Michelin Pilot Road 2's fitted and I must say they look very nice.Although it is still a 160/60,the rear is noticably wider than my previous tyres. Will have to give them a good scrub in this weekend!

Bike have been too long in garage. On saturday I am going to fit my brand new fuelling mod made by Kev and front fork spacer mod also made by Kev. Looking forward to see what he is up next... Otherwise I think my bike is ready for the summer.

If weather is any good on weekend, I think I'll take her to a little ride

In two weekends time I am pulling my motor apart & am going to try & fit a Raptor 700 barrel with a JE 11:1 high compression piston & a stage 1 Hot Cam, so I will be busy. Then a quick running in, then on the Dyno to see the gains.

Certainly sounds interesting. Once set up on the dyno I would be more interested in how it actually feels to ride rather than the figures - I guess there's gonna be a massive difference in the way the bike feels.
64bhp and a big grin - that's my prediction :idea1:

hope it all works well for you kev. I think that would then make the XT an even bigger beast to hold onto.

Thanks for the spacer mod feed back Motonacio.

If I get 55HP I will be happy, anymore then that will be a bonus, I am more interested in the torque curve then peak HP from this mod. If I wanted big HP I would have ordered a stage 2 camshaft.

Seeing as the weather was not good i decided to treat my bike to a well earned good clean. Cleaned the link pipes and even had a go at the spokes, i wish i hadn't bothered!!!!! What a horrible job and how hard is it to get your back wheel back in on your own???????? Or is there an easy way and i am a bit thick:smilies0948:????? That last bit doesn't need answering!!!
