Very little diffrents in carbon as far as working it...
just use carbon cloth instead of dynal..
for a form this size the weight saving of carbon
is not worth talking about...
I want it the same colour as the bike..So the carbon
look dosn't matter...

EDIT........................
Think I'm going to start again... really don't like the shape...
Go for a more rounded shape....
If I can get a nice looking unit..There no reason why I can't sell them...
As I will have the mold & they will be able to be made to fit most any bike...

Fitted black 971 bend Renthal handlebars

Uprated fork brace now fitted also from OTR, makes a difference in my opinion, feels more planted and more feedback from front tyre

She's looking good mate, but seriously you're not going to mount that KLR milk crate like you said are you ??????

Looks great, let us know what your fuel consumption does with the resistor O2 elininator. Is the bike going to be Dyno tunned?

boneman 30-03-12 14:23

Happy birthday old fella....

I am sweating on the milk crate from the Kawasaki catalogue. It comes with 4 mounting points, velcro, that's plenty for 35hp bike. I have ordered a Kwaka green one, coz I think that would look grouse. The orange octopus straps will contrast nicely.

It's guaranteed to whistle in the wind, and is aerodynamic until 80km/h. Above that it's designed to detach and spread your brochures from your delivery round
all over the road.

And the best news is, I've ordered one for you for your 50th on Monday.
Happy birthday!! :smileinbox:

Mate, I ordered the resistor eliminator before I spoke to you. I had it there so I thought I might as well fit it. I am anticipating an increase in fuel consumption, but the loss of surging is welcome.

Shane got me to take the snorkel out today, and I've ordered a PC5, O2 optimiser, MAP switch & stage 2 filter & airbox cover after speaking to you.

I reckon it would benefit with a tune when all that is fitted. Do you suggest anyone in SEQ for bike dyno?

Kev, thanks again for all your help, I really appreciate it! Boneman :signthankspin:
