Got them fitted last night, along with the Givi Topbox plate that fits my top box, I will no longer be wide on the right, so filter will be a little easier.

Out with the guys for a short spin this morning, seems a bit more responsive, I still had to go to full throttle to pass the 600 Ninga . I can hear the intake now which I could not before I just need to try it on the commute and see how it is then.

No PC3 fitted, When I spoke to the Rolling road guy he advised trying the cans and filters first before the expence of the PC3 and Rolling road time.

The exhaust was still a bark colour when I got back home, but I remember Kev saying in another thread that you have to check this before the slow bit back to the house, so will check this when I next use it to Commute.

I will check the Mods section for the CO settings etc before I take her out again.

I checked the CO setting and upped it by 10, did the commute this morning and found it excellent. It is still jurky on roll off roll on, and surges/hunts a lot less but still sometimes.

I read on some of the other post that I can push the CO setting higher so will raise it by another 5 before I go home and see what difference that makes

Found it quieter this morning, not sure if it was the bike, the wind or I had the ear plugs in better???

It was a lot better filtering and seemed to have more and smoother pull but that may just be me riding it differently. No overhang on the right with the top box on plate instead of pannier.

Also found it easier to hold 30 and 40 in the limits, although it still creeps up in the 30's.

Not sure how high I should go with the CO setting before I need to get the Kev mod instead/as well.

Check the TPS it was 15 not sure what changiong this would do as it is in the "acceptable" range????

Need more input from the more knowledgable

That lets me out then.

The co adjustment only operates in the lower rev range - the ecu fuel map takes over in mid to high ranges and it will not know that you have increased the amount of air going into the engine so I suggest that a Kev mod at a modest price will help with all the ranges that the co does not cover. As Kev says a PCIII is the preferred option but his mod will ensure that you do not get lean burn which can give valve and piston problems through overheating.

Colros the last thing you can do now and perhaps (as experience has shown), one of the more effective is to raise slightly your idleing speed (tickover) by turning clockwise the gold screw on the throttle body (left side - gear pedal side) and try to raise it to a figure betweeen 1450-1550 rpm.

That little turn makes a world of difference in the low revs range.

I upped it by the extra 5 and found it made it worse, Stalled twice on the way home, OK the bike stopped once and the other time I tried to pull away in Third, so not readly the bikes fault. I could also smell petrol, not sure if that was from the bike or other traffic arround me though.

So have dropped it by 4 and it has not stopped, and is back to what it was after I upped it by 10.

I need to find the instructions for the Multimeter to see how to get it to check RPM, it has it on the dial but DOOOH I dont see how to connect it up.

The exhaust is still black so not leaning out too much ?

Any advise on what is the best way to go from here, Not that it is a problem I can ride it as it is. I will try the upping the tickover, I can see that changing the roll on roll off a little.
