Xt front sprocket difference

I was about to fit a new front sprocket from JT,but when I removed the renthal one I noticed how much thicker the mounting cog was, almost 10mm compared to the JT almost 6mm, because the renthal has an additional flange behind it,and if I fit the JT and tighten up the lock tab and nut the sprocket slides about the shaft, were as the renthal doesn't.
Is anybody using this type as I feel it may cause premature wear on the output shaft?
