BridgeStone Battlewing 501 & 502
Hi,
i just got the 40 000 km maintenance, and i had to change the tyres (both). i installed the Bridgetsone Battlewing 501 and 502. do you have any feedback on them? i've done 50Km with, and i feel pretty confident with. Michelin SIRAC was cleary worst... But anyone have tested them? i heard that they put these tyres on "big trail" (BMW GS, Tenere, Africa twin) Thanks ! |

I'd be interested to see how you get on with these. I have siracs at the minute but they are aging and going square at the rear. I had been interested in these but was leaning towards the Avon trek riders

Only 300 km on the front of my xtr. Rear is half worn conti ta2. Looks promising. 5 gr of ballast for balancing. Easy mounting. No problem at all to keep good line throughout the curves. After K60, I am appreciating the silence. Ensuring, but I am not brave enough to test the grip. Too old.

Are you riding gravel with them as well
Seems a lot like road (tar) tyres? I had them on my BMW R1200GS when I bought it, and rode them till they were shod, had good experience with them, but not totally gravel orientated Last edited by Dual; 16-05-17 at 09:57. |
