BridgeStone Battlewing 501 & 502

Hi,

i just got the 40 000 km maintenance, and i had to change the tyres (both).

i installed the Bridgetsone Battlewing 501 and 502.

do you have any feedback on them?

i've done 50Km with, and i feel pretty confident with. Michelin SIRAC was cleary worst...

But anyone have tested them?

i heard that they put these tyres on "big trail" (BMW GS, Tenere, Africa twin)

Thanks !

I'd be interested to see how you get on with these. I have siracs at the minute but they are aging and going square at the rear. I had been interested in these but was leaning towards the Avon trek riders

i ll try to post some update. but for the moment (70 km done), looks clearly better than SIRAC.
a bit noisy beteween 40 and 70 kmh,but i allready feel more grip - still careful ;)

Only 300 km on the front of my xtr. Rear is half worn conti ta2. Looks promising. 5 gr of ballast for balancing. Easy mounting. No problem at all to keep good line throughout the curves. After K60, I am appreciating the silence. Ensuring, but I am not brave enough to test the grip. Too old. :toothy11:

Are you riding gravel with them as well
Seems a lot like road (tar) tyres?
I had them on my BMW R1200GS when I bought it, and rode them till they were shod, had good experience with them, but not totally gravel orientated

i dont think they are OK on gravel. they may autorise little off road (little paths...)

do you have a feedback under rain?

Hi,

i come back froma trip around 1200 Km, with a lot of diffrents roads.

i feel very confident with. the grip is very good. the feeling is nice on the road. very reactive.

as i mentionned a little shaky between 60 and 80 kmh, but you forget it fast .

clearly better than SIRAC and Dunlop trialmax (traimax on amy other bike). i highly recommand them ;)
