Show me your Muff (s)

Right,

It's getting cold. There, I've said it.
I'd rather look like an idiot than be freezing cold, so I'm going down the line of Bar muffs and heated grips.

I have the Yamaha handguards on at the moment, but they do virtually nothing for wind break (have saved my fingers on a couple of drops, though)

Has anyone got muffs? can you post a link or some photos?

Also, heated grip recommendations?

Lotsa love,

Weave.

Haven't used bar muffs on a bike since the late 80s, not since heated grips became more readily available. However, this thread might give you some food for thought...

http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=18436

On the Tenere I have had Oxford Hot Grips, which worked OK till the controls broke. Then I fitted Symtec grip heater pads, which were infinitely better...

Now I swear by heated gloves and vest by Gerbings - not cheap, but I would not go back to heated grips again after experiencing the loveliness of heated clothing.

Thanks John,

checked out your thread on ABR

Ordered Tucano Urbano 325 muffs today. Couldn't find a UK supplier but got them cheap from Italy.

Nice one.

Can confirm that R325 is the wrong model number!
I've managed to sell them on eBay now and bought the correct ones.

XTZ owners with handguards will want R319

They fit like a 'glove' :P

That's great info. Thanks. Been looking vaguely at 'muffs' for years. Always nervous clicking the purchase button as the fitment was an issue.

Thanks for sharing.
