My tenere with new spiketyres. Works really great. On hard packed snow roads I can ride like at summertime, maybe even harder :)

Good grief!! I can't imagine riding in conditions like that. Amazing. And very impressive.
The photos of the XTZ bring back very fond memories for me. Bulletproof, friendly and capable are some words that come to mind. |
Morocco a few weeks ago....
Might organize another jaunt over next year (if anyone wants to tag along)

So high mud guard and stage 3 DNA fitted :-)
Have mixed feelings about the stage 3 though... http://i2.fmix.pl/fmi1748/360a6a58000b87ac51030271 http://i1.fmix.pl/fmi582/e04ef61e0006e44c51030236 http://i3.fmix.pl/fmi1853/17a4e1fe001f09d651030202 |
High mudguard and lotsa mud, but runnin' street tyres? Must be a challenge....
|
Wasn't that bad :-) Thing is - i'm doing only 20-30% offroad at the moment and that 70% of time on the road is worth a little struggle when off. It will be great to have TKC's but with my style of riding on tarmac they wouldn't last longer than 2500 miles i think.

I'm runnin' Heidenau's K60 Scouts now on my Tenere, way more grip on- as offroad, in comparison to the Tourances I had before(also better in wet conditions). At this moment at around 15.000km's they're still doin' fine, still some more km's to go.

Looking good. Will have to try later, for now i have set of Full Bore tyres which i had with bike when bought it. Don't expecting to be much better than sirac's but for my UK green lanes will be enough.
