I always hate it, when I have to clean my bike. The mud was so cool. But tomorrow new tire, and my dealer works only on clean bikes

Good night sweetheart..

Last pic of my bike before I dragged it down in the basement at work to let it rest for the winter. =(

But it will probably go up and down the elevator a little during the winter, got a lot of stuff to do on the bike. :)

Maxwell the bike to the right of my Tenere was used by a hardened biker to ride around the coast of the UK last year. He covered 4500 miles in around 4 months.

The scoot is actually classed as a motorised pedal cycle and had a top speed of less than 30mph.

Now if he can complete a trip on a tiny bike like that the sky is the limit for anyone with an xt.

Charity ride starts on 15/11 but speedferries have been impounded so we are frantic looking for another crossing.

Cheers.......

Hi Gregor, what tryres are you running and how do they handle on the road?:coolsmiley:

Hello and welcome Gregor, and nice to see you use your Ten the way it's supposed to. =)

Hello all.

Pics taken on Byways between Hollingbourne and Charing along the North Downs in Kent.

The rear tyre is a Pirelli MT21, the front a Vee Rubber motorcross tyre worth 3 pts :eusa_naughty: which as you'd expect feels awful on the road but excellent on the slippery stuff.

I will be replacing it with a matching MT21 soon because I would like to be able to go around corners on tarmac again.

Not once did that front let go on mud which is more than can be said for the Pirellis from past experience.
