If you intend to keep your Tenere for a while, and you are keen to do all your own spannering, then it really is a "must have" bit of kit. I've already got more than my money's worth out of it.

Cheapest place to buy I've found is here.

Thanks for the advice, appreciate it, Not sure how long I'm going to keep the bike yet, Must say that even fitting a piper air filter and removing the snorkel seem to have made a difference. Maybe the next stage of replacing the stock exhaust will be enough for me.
Thanks again

My C1 was on 0 by default. Is this normal? Ive set it to 8 and waiting for my shift to end so I can test it out.

Edit: rode it home today. there seems to be some improvement, very little but I can feel it there (that is if i did everything right).

Dave don't despair, just ask for new pics. When I get indoors this evening after work I will post some detailed pics of the fuelling fix procedure.

I believe that whoever posted those original ones did it 10 years ago on a free host which has probably become inactive or the owner's account has been removed and with that all his links. Poo happens but we are here to fix it.

Thanks cap it was the engine breather pics I was looking for today I understand why the pics vanish just don't like having to bother people to post again

Kev, you say you can only go to -10 on these bikes. Mine was set at -8 (factory default). By changing it to -3, there is a difference, but a very small one. Can I set it higher? Bike is 11/2005, completely stock.
Thanks everyone!

Yours should be between +10 & +20 for a 2005 model, we only started to see - numbers in 2007.

Thanks for your fast reply!
Bike had Mass and Akrapovič exhausts before, but previous owner never heard of CO setting, so it should be alright. Maybe european bikes were set differently?
Or maybe I have newer ECU :120: Is there a way to check that?

So you say, it's safe to set it to 10-20, even though original setting was -8, and new setting would be far from it?
Thanks!

Never seen -8 on your year 660.

Sorry for a late reply. I have now fitted your fuel mod and removed snorkel (eveything else is stock). Surging is almost entirely gone.
My standard CO was at -8, now I'm at 2. My bike has 01 ECU. Should i still go for something between 10 and 20?

Thanks.
