I know that, I want someone else to confirm the measurement of 90mm on a XTR any year.

If the link plate size is 90mm from center to center the plates I got made will not fit the XTR & will only fit the XTX models.

Can someone who has a XTR please measure their center to center link plates for me, be sides motonacio I have your size. If I get no responce I will only sell the links to fit a XTX & will not worry about making up sets to fit the XTR as no one can confirm the link size. I do not have a XTR to measure the links & my local Yamaha dealer does not have one for me to measure.:069:

Are they easy to fit, can I do it myself or are specialist tools required?

I may also be interested in ordering a Kev Mod too mate, let me have another look at the thread on the mod & I'll get back to you ;)

Very easy to fit, you need to lift the rear wheel off the ground, 2 x 22mm spanners or a socket & spanner.

Undo the 2 nuts lift the rear wheel to take the load off the bolts, remove the 2 bolts making sure you do not disturb the seal & inner steel spacer that is left in the shock link when removing the bolts. Fit the new links one side at a time & tighten the 22mm nuts, all done in ten mins.

If you are after the 2 mods spacer & links, I can post them both for a reduced postage cost Total AUD$110.00.

If anyone wants to combine mods you will save on postage, this is no problem.

Nice, paddock stand ok? Do the 22mm nuts have to be set at a certain torque?

You already sent me the spacers mate, I was referring to the fueling fix ;)

Whats the other mod you have?

Ok Gentlemen, you've heard from Kev 9 sets of raising liks are now ready to be shipped, you have to appreciate that Kev went out of his way to satisfy request based on your feedback and requirement, please make sure you order your set now because I would be so embarassed if Kev was to remain lumbered with these, 28 quid is nothing when you consider that it includes postage and shipping from Australia.

Please do the right thing and pm Kev with your order soon.

Many thanks

You need to lift the rear of the bike so the swinging arm can be moved up & down. I will post a photo tonight showing you how I did mine. I can supply you with the torque for the 22mm nuts.

I make 4 mods for the XT660, Fuel mod, Fork spacer mod, O2 Eliminator mod & Rear link mod. No problem to combine any mod to save on posting.
