Oh dear. :llorando[1]:
Pity you won't hang around a bit longer and someone might help you. ps. Might be an idea to stop banging on about what a good mechanic you are and stop slating your/our bikes. Not a good way of getting help really. |

That is exactly the point here:
Let me tell you, I have started this forum for one purpose and one purpose only. And that is to provide assistance WORLDWIDE to xt owners with any problem related to the bike. I am happy to say that I have succeeded in putting together an excellent team of collaborators, people who are worth their weight in diamonds let alone gold, such as Kev with his intensive mechanical knowledge, Freez just as Kev, and of course all my other collaborators who deal with the other tasks of similar importance such as the maintenance of this forum. People like Nein, Ranni, FM, MC, who provide their support with the software, the graphic and the not so often required task of controlling the peace. Needless to say I am someone who always tries to keep an eye on every single member of this forum, and their input and I am always on the look out for the next valid collaborator. A bit like a talent scout who always try to see the good element in people and hopes to find ways to apply his or her potential to the team for the benefit of all. But when someone comes here stating to be the next best thing to Andrew Newey (Mercedes/McLaren Team most succesfull technical director for 7 years in a row) then I would expect this person to talk the talk and walk it too. I would be extremely embarassed if I was that person and not being able to even adjust the idleing of an XT or the co2 settings. Now I have also based this forum on a code of respect between members, and mods / admins but.... If the pi$$ is taken out of you, you've only got yourself to blame, quite honestly. You have been giving us the big I am and produced nothing but rants and quite frankly a lot of bull..... I have never said this before to a member, but here it goes: You can stay or leave, but if you do decide to stay, please STFU and listen to the others and learn, be humble, be a normal person, put your feet back down on the ground and you will see other respecting you without belittleing you ever again. Myself included. |

If it wasn't for this site then my bike would still be like riding a kangaroo.
I must admit I thought I had made the wrong choice in bike when I bought my XTX but after reading loads of info on here I've got the machine pretty much sorted and can now say I love my machine. I'm not a mechanic but I do enjoy learning about the machine. This site has been a real godsend to me and these guys on here know their sh|t. Listen to 'em. BTW. You won't get it running like a 4 cylinder engine cos 3 pistons are missing. Plus, Yamaha dealers don't ride these bikes, we do so who should you be listening to? It's a no brainer really. |
I think bongoman might join the other xt forum after that.
I think what he was saying ,was ok, it was the way he said it. Learn to be abit more tactfull . if you dont mind me saying. :ytiller: |

sure ly i can set the idle and co ,but that just doesnt change one thing about my bike and that the fact that its a lemon.and if you or any of your mate on here want to take it for a ride or better still have a go at fixing it so it suddenly has bottom end stops stalling use reasonable amounts of fuel let me know, cause to be frank if yamaha after having it for 6 weeks cant get it right who can??can you?? i have never taken the piss out of anyone here but frankly to post such a rude reply doesnt say much about yourself in general .And who is andrew newey anyway i never mentioned him. your attitude frankly sux, your language sux and they way you reply to some also sux.so if i understand well here you can say what you like and the other can shut the **** up. perhaps you should put this on as your site moto....well done ...nice.... |
