throw overs

hi everyone, just brought a tenere was thinking of a set of throw overs is there any problems with the exhaust like do you need a supporting bracket.

I don't think throw-over panniers are a problem on the Tenere as the exhaust is covered and not too hot to touch (I asume that you have the standard exhaust). However before you take my word for it, try getting your bike up to full temp and see how hot the exhaust is.
I'm looking at getting some Cameron Barker waterproof panniers very soon. I'm not sure if you'd need any pannier supports for them, I'm hoping that they'll be ok without.

If it's standard pipes then you'll be fine mate. Happy travels.

What are you panicing for as long as you're packed properly, you'll have a great time!!! How long are you away for?

They should do, as long as they're reasonably adjustable. Have you already got some , or do you have some in mind? Like I said earlier, try googling the Cameron Barker's ones, they're supposed to be really good, and well priced. Have a look at different suppliers as the prices vary!

I've just ordered a set of the Oxford RT30 panniers, they should be here any time in the next day or so..... Might be total rubbish, who knows, or they might be a good option over Kriega (I doubt it though).

I'll let you know.
