Avons the same as you old chum!!!. I used to run Pirelli Diablos on my shhhhhhh Husky 610s and they were supposed to be good. Didn't get much mileage out of em and bloody slippery in the rain. Especially on those big white bus lane jobbies aaarrrgghhhhh..... You (Fran that is) told me about the Avons when I got my bike. Now I've done over 3000 miles on em and they still look like they'll do another 3000.... Weeeeeeeeeeeeee

Yep! that's right folks..... distanzia = long distance mileage on these tyres. :devil[1]:

Does anybody know what it would cost for a pair of Avon D SMs, for supply and fit? I have emailed the mobile fitter who advertises on this site. Just want a rough idea?

If you buy them on line to be delivered they could be 87 for the rear

and 64 for the front
http://www.cheaptyres4u.co.uk/product.asp?ACTION=SEARCH

normally its anything between 10 and 15 to fit each

Tony the bloke at Sidcup Motorcycle is a nice bloke and a very good mechanic but he is a greedy sod and charges a lot.

and get Storm's man to give you a quote

I don't think Sidcup Tyres is over priced, it's only about 20 more than getting them delivered and fitted by someone. I think it's worth paying that for the easy option of a ride in ride out service. I'm pretty certain it's about 10 cheaper per tyre if you take the loose wheels in.
