Can't find these in SA. Does anyone know if the guys there would ship over here?
I have a rear trail tyre but nobody in this country stocks a front tyre that size for trails.
Also, how has everyone found these tyres off road?

I wouldn't recommend Distanzia tyres for off roading.

They are too soft and will tear up very easily.

Before I bought some new distanzia tyres I was offered some 2nd hand tyres from Keith but when I saw a picture of the tyre it had started to delaminate due to him taking it off road.

Thanks for the reply. This is becoming impossible, to find a intermediate tyre for that size

Can't help you there matey but I have just found the post that Keith made about the Distanzia tyres tearing up.

Those look really poked. I have a rear anakee, so maybe i should just try a front one and test it. It wont be too rough off roading just dirt roads, although that will probably get rougher as time passes. But i have no other options at the moment.

gezzz that looks very bad, i wouldnt like that to happen to any of my tyres if it did i would be having a word with the guy who fitted it so he would replace it and send the old one back.

Do these chaps selling them on ebay.co.uk ship to south africa?

Captain 14-02-08 14:03

Ok, i managed to find a distanzia here. R1100.00. That's around 100 pounds for the front excl fittiing. But hey, my X will soon be on the trails.
