DNA High Performance Filters - Who's got what?

Thought you guys might be interested to see what we achieved with the full set of DNA filters, powercommander and a set of Leo Vince exhausts.

Power output at peak RPM is up by around 20%. Not bad with a few bolt on mods.

The dyno report below shows 3 graphs, all done with the same Tenere. The green line with 37.33 HP peak is an all stock bike, nothing added. The blue line shows 42.29 HP and what you should achieve with a stock exhaust system, powercommander and a full set of DNA filters. (DNA stg 1, 2 and 3). The red line shows what gains are possible with the full set of DNA filters, powercommander and a set of Leo Vince exhausts. Note the exhausts still had the quite inserts at the end in to reduce noise levels. Noise output is actually not that much louder than stock and I personally think you should not have problems with the law with that sort of noise output. A solid 1 to 2 HP gain was achieved with the pipes, right across the whole RPM range.

I created a new fuel map for the powercommander also, so keep an eye out for it in the members section.

Just dropped stage 1 in, I was accelerating to the highway to test it and found the front tire in the air. Has not happened before amd I was totally not expecting anything like that, I'm happy and going to order stage 2 also :)

XT660 with more air + more fuel = more power.

Stage 1 upgraded to stage 2

Stage 2 is now installed, Kev mod at -7C and CO1 at 35 (no idea of the original).

Quite surprisingly the difference was not as big as it was from stock to stage 1, I guess the stock was quite dirty when I got the bike. Biggest change was for top gear driving at around 80 km/h which was a bit dodgy before, now the bike goes just fine. The sound is also very nice.

I am a bit worried about the fit, even though I did not overtighten the screws, the filter feels a bit floppy and I'm worried that it would leak. Also I'm a bit worried to start driving on gravel roads. Perhaps I'm just stupid, but I might just replace the normal cover for my autumn roadtrip.

Fittted dna 1&2 2 years ago , with no cans or nothing else. The bike could after this pop the front wheel in 2. There is also a nice sound from the engine trough the new filters. Later i mounted CCC,RB3 to get some more juice out of it.

Yesterday I got the DNA Stage 1 filter.
Haven't had time to install it yet.
I'm going to install it when I get home today.

I nodiced a small jar with some red stuff in it that came with the filter.
What is that anyway?

Lipstick for the missus, yep, we aim to please :deathmetal[1]:

It's sealant that you need to apply to the outer edge of the filter before you slot it in, so it seals any gap stopping air from escaping.
