Quite frankly Yamaha UK have been next to useless in any consideration with the whole issue. I have had to talk firmly to then to get then to call me to keep me informed about how the job was progressing. I have no time for dealers in any case but this particular one has not been on my side and did not go that extra mile so no more business from me.:dito:
I shall this week be contacting Yam UK to inform in no uncertain words my displeasure concerning this whole issue and see what I can claim back. I'm just pleased to get the bike back and now I can get my own mechanic to give it the once over.:eusa_whistle: |
Good to hear you've finally got the bike back, hopefully they'll have sorted everything out nicely for you.
RE customer service if I ever got the reg/rec connector problem I would have been insisting on a loan bike (I know you already have a second one) as they would need to carry out the repair without any undue inconvenience. In my case not having a method of transport to get to work would certainly have been an inconvenience. I've done this once this year when my jacket developed a fault where the zip was tearing off and I had a loan jacket (not as good but it was adaquate - i'm wearing it in my profile pic) while mine was being repaired - again I only had one waterproof jacket so I could not be without one. |
WELL DONE, they should at least refund your service cost and extend your warranty. I would lay 95% of the blame is with your dealer they should be the ones that are chasing Yamaha uk up and keeping you informed, I would not P*ss on them if they were on fire if they treated me that way.

Good news at last Steve. Hope all is well.
Care to name and shame the dealer who has - to put it mildly - dragged their feet? |
