No, Bassplucker we found out that if the bike is from Europe using the Km this will not change into miles, as Storm sadly found out when he bought a speedometer from Germany, following a needy replacement for his broken one. :welcome: to the forum by the way.... don't be shy, what's your name and where you're from, (doesn't that sounds like Cilla Black ?:tongue[1]: )

Hi.I know how change MPH/KPH or KPH/MPH.In my xt660x 07. It is very easy.Turn on ignition key and than push select button on couple seconds.If you want back to previous adjustment do it again.:icon_biggrin:

Thanks to jarek77 information but can enyone else confirm that xt660 R/X mph speedo can be changed to kmh. My speedo is broken and it's europe model and i can't do it. I found two mph speedos on ebay but i like to be sure before i'll buy one.

All UK specification bikes can be changed from mph to Km/h. You should be fine buying a speedo from ebay UK.

Nerdy fact: All vehicles registered in the UK after 1st January 1977 are required by law to have a speedometer capable of displaying speeds in kilometres per hour as well as miles per hour. :sleepy1:
