Sorry to hear you have been having so many problems.

Your first sentence in this thread may explain a lot.

"I came home today and the mailman had dropped package in my garden with the CCC logo"

Any chance someone saw the package in your garden and walked away with it ?

There are certainly some horror stories on here about CCC. Maybe I was lucky, but my dealings with Simon went like this.

Ordered set of carbon ovals using the email form on his website, I quoted the discount price from this site.
Was phoned back within 30 mins to go over the order and verify address etc.
Simon said we were getting a VERY good discount (less than wholesale price) agreed by the previous owner of CCC, that he felt obliged to stick to.
He said they would be handmade that week and would arrive for the weekend. (This was a Thursday so I was a bit sceptical)
Took my credit card details.
Did not arrive for that weekend, (no surprise) but turned up Thursday the next week.
All pipes, cans, fitting straps, clamps, stickers etc were in the boxes.

I have been more than happy with the cans and was very pleased with the service.

This was only a couple of months ago,
So again maybe I was very lucky, but even at the full price I would be happy to order again.

I am seriously thinking about that yes, as I'm even strugling to even get a reply to my messages I send them...

But I think it's a lot of a hassle to take legal actions against a shop out of your own country? or am i mistaking here?

May be we need to send the boyz round for you!!!!

Try a PM to Simon Cope, he owned the Company before the idiot that has it now, he may be able to assist you? Just a thought.

No way, PLEASE ignore that last suggestion, both Simon Cope and myself have broken links with the new owner of Carbon Cans and these situations are both individually irreverisble. Thanks

European Commission is the only way or... get paypal or your credit card to order a refund mandate as it is your right when goods are not received.

Why do you think I have ceased partnership with him?

Mythix 22-09-09 16:28

Legal steps will be taken starting the first of October, I've been mailing them nearly every 3 days for the last weeks and not once received a reply.

I've told them in my last correspondance that legal steps will be taken, I wonder if they will react now...

as for paypall, I used aregular bank transfer, and I don't think I'll be able to get it back that easy...

Dear Mythix, I hope you believe me when I tell you this, that I am deeply embarrassed about this incident and totally disgusted by the behaviour of this guy, I wish I could have warned you, of course if I knew things would turn this way, but I've ceased our sponsorship deal with him a few days after you have made your order, and the terms of our departure are pretty bad with no hope for me and him to get in contact again. I wish you the best of luck in your legal dispute and if you need any witnesses, or proof you can always come to us.

It's a sad state of affair and we at "xt660.com" will never have anything to do again with this guy.

Any news yet on your cans. Someone on another forum has successfully taken CCC to the small claims court and apparently the bailiffs paid a visit to CCC workshop in Doncaster just before Christmas.
