Recieved CCC linkpipes, cans are missing?!

I came home today and the mailman had dropped package in my garden with the CCC logo.
With a smile on my face I was tearing the box appart and started to unravel what was inside...
My smile turned into a frown when i noticed that everything was there except the cans!?
I've got link pipes, clamps, stickers, nuts and bolts... but no cans...
can any1 confirm that these come separately?? I hope to get them in this week... :100:

Stewpot666 26-05-09 18:44

U should get 3 boxes, 2 with cans in and 1 with link pipes and the other stuff, mine arrived the otherday, but had the 3x right size clamp and 1 that was different, i would get on the blower and see what they say

Mythix 26-05-09 18:52

The problem is I dont know who to call, the UKMail or the belgian mail...
I'll just wait a few days, it took the link pipes 15 days to get here so I hope the rest will turn up this week...

Stewpot666 26-05-09 19:02

Need to speak to carbon can to see if they sent it all out together, which i imagine they would of.

CaptMoto 26-05-09 19:26

Call this number tomorrow 0044 130 233 9031 if no answer leave an urgent message in their answer machine with your name and number and ask them to confirm the following:
  • how many parcels they sent
  • was the parcel insured against loss or damage
I believe this is the first time a similar incident has occurred, please call Simon at Carbon Can Co. and ask him

Mythix 26-05-09 20:11

I've already sent him an email when i noticed it, I'll sit it out tomorrow and call him Tuesday if I don't hear anything from CCC. As I said before, it has taken 15 days for the package to get here, it wouldnt supprise me if the other parts are just delayed...

CaptMoto 26-05-09 20:32

In all honesty I would assume that Simon has duly sent you out all the package together, there is no reason why he shouldn't have and my only hope is that your local post office will despatch the rest, however if it is lost in the post, Simon would have taken insurance and surely should be able to replace the missing parts. Rest assured somehow we will get to the bottom of this as I will personally call Simon tomorrow to find out.

Mythix 26-05-09 22:04

Hehe that would be very nice Capt, thanks for the help...
In belgium the post is still owned by the state so it's no wonder things f*uck up once in a while... But I really appreciate your help mate...

Mythix 30-05-09 12:31

Stil nothing has arrived... I mailed CCC that they best start the 'lost parel procedure' or something.... hopefully it wont take another 20 days :(

CaptMoto 01-06-09 12:02

Mythix, I've spoken to Simon this morning and your issue is being solved, a new set of cans is on the way to you, and I believe Simon told me he has already been in touch with you so it's all a matter of days and you will soon have your cans.

:drillsergeant:

Mythix 02-06-09 16:54

Yes he told me he let the company put out a track and trace on the parcel... So I hadn't heard anything about him sending a new pair already... But would be Nice! ^^

Mythix 29-06-09 17:24

Me neither.

Not the sort of service I'd of imagined considering the amount customers from this site. Doubt I'll be ordering some.

Hope all goes well!

CC XT660 02-07-09 08:23

best of luck mate, that's just not fair

Mythix 10-07-09 19:14

The weeks are still just passing, I've sent numerous emails to CCC but they don't even bother to reply...

I'm really just on the verge of sending the pieces I received back to them and asking for my money back.... This is just getting rediculous

Do that, send back the pieces and then report them to PayPal or Visa or whatever you paid with as you are covered by them against loss.

Mythix 13-07-09 11:12

I've finally got a reply form ccc. I got a rather unfriendly mail where he states that i won't get any results by threatening them with slander. I have no clue what that means but I'm really unhappy with it.
I Haven't had a reply to any message i sent them for over a month, am I to blaim in this?
They also told me they have to wait for a set time, but he fails to mention how long that is...

CaptMoto 13-07-09 12:10

Threathening with slander means...

That he will not be helpful or accomodating with you, if you threath him to take to court for example on the grounds of his incapacity, incompetence, ignorance, stupidity, village idiotness, peasantness, ruffianness, not have a clue how to run a succesfull business, not being able to recognize a good thing (xt660.com) when he sees one and to lose the confidence and respect of the undersigned for not performing in the same manner that the previous owner of CCC made us all enjoy.

In other words next time you write to him, you are supposed to lie, tell him he is great and his products are the best and that you would like nonetheless a refund because you are not worthy of his products.

franksy 13-07-09 20:04

Well put Capt!

If that's the way he treats his customers, then he can shove his stubbies where the sun don't shine.

I for one won't be spending my money with him.

RedDog 13-07-09 21:23

Sorry to hear you have been having so many problems.

Your first sentence in this thread may explain a lot.

"I came home today and the mailman had dropped package in my garden with the CCC logo"

Any chance someone saw the package in your garden and walked away with it ?

There are certainly some horror stories on here about CCC. Maybe I was lucky, but my dealings with Simon went like this.

Ordered set of carbon ovals using the email form on his website, I quoted the discount price from this site.
Was phoned back within 30 mins to go over the order and verify address etc.
Simon said we were getting a VERY good discount (less than wholesale price) agreed by the previous owner of CCC, that he felt obliged to stick to.
He said they would be handmade that week and would arrive for the weekend. (This was a Thursday so I was a bit sceptical)
Took my credit card details.
Did not arrive for that weekend, (no surprise) but turned up Thursday the next week.
All pipes, cans, fitting straps, clamps, stickers etc were in the boxes.

I have been more than happy with the cans and was very pleased with the service.

This was only a couple of months ago,
So again maybe I was very lucky, but even at the full price I would be happy to order again.

Mythix 10-09-09 00:23

Mythix 15-09-09 16:54

I am seriously thinking about that yes, as I'm even strugling to even get a reply to my messages I send them...

But I think it's a lot of a hassle to take legal actions against a shop out of your own country? or am i mistaking here?

Try a PM to Simon Cope, he owned the Company before the idiot that has it now, he may be able to assist you? Just a thought.

No way, PLEASE ignore that last suggestion, both Simon Cope and myself have broken links with the new owner of Carbon Cans and these situations are both individually irreverisble. Thanks

European Commission is the only way or... get paypal or your credit card to order a refund mandate as it is your right when goods are not received.

dave-v-v 16-09-09 17:37

CCC are S**T now.

CCC what a BAD rude disgraceful company (now) for two baffles 80 and some of the e-mail replay’s I have had from them are pass disgusting and the phone call are so rude too.
DO NOT PAY YOUR CASH OUT TO THEM!!!
:mumum::mumum::mumum:

CaptMoto 16-09-09 18:01

Why do you think I have ceased partnership with him?

Mythix 22-09-09 16:28

Legal steps will be taken starting the first of October, I've been mailing them nearly every 3 days for the last weeks and not once received a reply.

I've told them in my last correspondance that legal steps will be taken, I wonder if they will react now...

as for paypall, I used aregular bank transfer, and I don't think I'll be able to get it back that easy...

Dear Mythix, I hope you believe me when I tell you this, that I am deeply embarrassed about this incident and totally disgusted by the behaviour of this guy, I wish I could have warned you, of course if I knew things would turn this way, but I've ceased our sponsorship deal with him a few days after you have made your order, and the terms of our departure are pretty bad with no hope for me and him to get in contact again. I wish you the best of luck in your legal dispute and if you need any witnesses, or proof you can always come to us.

It's a sad state of affair and we at "xt660.com" will never have anything to do again with this guy.

Simon-c 05-01-10 23:36

Any news yet on your cans. Someone on another forum has successfully taken CCC to the small claims court and apparently the bailiffs paid a visit to CCC workshop in Doncaster just before Christmas.

CaptMoto 05-01-10 23:57

That's good, is he still operating or has he closed down yet?

dave-v-v 06-01-10 17:11

Good i hate the man:112:

richardsracingmad 15-07-10 12:13

My CCC cans should be here now, but they're not.

Supposedly a "failed delivery" four days ago, according to them, but I was in all day!

Supposedly a "re-delivery" yesterday, but not a sausage.

But it is a bit fishy, as the consignment note they say they sent them on doesn't exist with my postcode, and my postcode is not on UK Mail system......so maybe they just wrote my postcode down wrong??!??

I have asked CCC for a tracking no., but so far they have not given me one!! I have called them many times!!

For the record, I ordered them on the 9th July, with a delivery date of the 12th July

I dont intend this to sound nasty so dont take it that way, BUT, why anyone would order of ccc under its new ownership when there is soooo much bad press about their service record is beyond me.
I truly hope you get your cans etc without further delay and hassle.
Keep us posted?

richardsracingmad 15-07-10 14:56

They have just arrived....the consignment number was one number after the one they told me (???), and they were sent YESTERDAY (Wednesday), not last Friday as they told me!!...........

I was only aware of the bad press after I ordered them, and it did worry me!.

So, only 4 days late, not too bad. At least I have them, unlike some other poor chap. I hope he has got his money back.

Anyway they look very nice!....and thanks Stumpy for your concern mate.
