Faded seat on XTR

So, the blue part of the seat on my 2011 XTR is faded as hell to a splotchy off-white colour. I leave it parked at work daily in partial sun but it snuck up on me and I didn't realise it was fading so badly - just on the one side (that faces up when its on its stand). I should've put a towel or something over the seat but... lessons learned. The rest of the seat and bike are still like new but the side of the seat looks bad so I gotta do something about it.

New seat covers are stupidly expensive, and the vinyl on the existing seat is otherwise in good nic so I don't really want to replace it... Thinking of trying to re-colour it using a product like Dupli-Colour Vinyl & Fabric paint. see: https://duplicolor.com/product/vinyl-and-fabric-coating

There's few YouTube clips showing how people have used it on car seats etc and it sounds like it could be a go-er. Anyone tried this? Or have another solution for restoring yer seat?

Hi guys

Excuse me because I do not speak English very well (I am Spanish, from the Canary Islands).

I recently purchased a custom seat cover for me, for a bike.

I bought it on a website with domain ".com" (but the web is from Greece). There are many variety of colors, customizations and different bike models.

If any moderator or admin authorizes me, I paste the link to the web.

The seat cover that I bought is the following:

[Edit]: Extension domain
