Has the wrf 450 for example the same splines? Or another Yamaha model perhaps?

Storm, the 14 tooth front...... I have on many occasion went down a tooth on the front sprocket.... if you go down on the front...YES it will give you more acceleration... enabling you to hoist the front much easier, an although you have more acce;eration... that doesnt mean the bike will go any faster... if in the NOW mode, it does 100 flat out....a had 97 the day but run out o road...anyway... wi a 14 tooth it`ll cut your top end by about 5mph7 tops.... a wid personaly give that wee bit up fur more lifting power... but dont be expecting power wheelies... even wi ma XJR13 a power wheelie was ok in 1st gear but it was near the end of its revs in second before it started tae lift... ye still need tae half clutch ...I tried it today wi only 200 miles on the engine, its really not slackened of enough yet tae be doin big wheelies... as when it slackens off maybe around the 1000 mile mark... then a`ll notice differences... a tried it a wee bit in first off the throttle only... an its too fierce..actually uncontrolable if given too much of a handful... then a tried it in second wi half clutchin an a fair amount of revs... an it started tae lift, but the road conditions werent great... but tae cut tae the chase.... yes am Gonna fit a front 14 tooth...cause a dont need the top end.... if yer lookin fur real speed buy an xjr... its the fun low down an mid range wit its all about on these fun trailies.....IF ye had tae go up on the back... ye wid need tae compensate around 3 teeth tae one on the front.... so if ye went up 3 teeth that wid make it slower on the pick away but more torque.... ave experimented once wi a XLR250... an went up the sprocks as a was lookin fur a kinda TRIALS bike torque... an man did a get it... a had a sprocket made a think 47 was standard an this was about 65 or so....whit a difference... it would run in top gear at around 15 mph.... thats how low down a could go... an ma top end which used to be about 80 went down to about 45.... but the torque was there.... so if a wis you leave the rear alone....ye can even go tae a 13... but that slows ye down top end 15 mph... an ye dont want that...ave tried it....a 14 is a good compromise....a had standard gearin on ma Dommie... an commin off a roundabout jist exiting it ad sometimes get a wee lift in 3rd wi a bit o clutch but in 2nd wi a bit o clutch it wid be reachin fur the sky nae bother....also ave had problems liftin a KLR650 with a pipe on it.. it will lift, but not easy,,, but wi a 14 tooth it makes life easier.....so a think now ye know whit ye need tae do....an mind tighten yer chain a wee bit....a havent read that attachment above yet but will after a post this....mabozzar.... an mind dont be goin daft or yell end up wi something like this....the end 4 pics
