Oil cooler (designed for XT660X) fitted to Tenere
Apologies for the quality of the photos and lack of detail.
Basically the cooler is fitted to same mounting points on engine as XT660X, but they have to be Bent slightly and mocol oil thermostat was a squeeze to get in.
Use a mocol thermostat as far cheaper than the JAG unit; but it does take up more room!
Sine changing the crankshaft oil seal the right way round (shown wrong in manual and Yamaha cannot agree in writing, as it affects so many of their single cylinder bikes), the oil temp is around 10 deg C less; so I may actually remove it and only refit it if going on a desert trail in the tropics.
