No, not a concept bike but a prototype! Whatever that means, but it looks ready but they choose to test it for some more(?) time. I think they want top quality and put a solid Tenere on the market and if I may speculate, probably mid-2018? But it looks mighty fine that Tenere, that's for sure!

That looks pretty much the final article. Lots of production parts on there including the ABS rings on the hubs and an ugly looking horn sticking out the left had side.

But probably the carbon parts and the Akrapovic exhaust will go and be replaced by cheaper parts......

hi
The prototype is 90% the final bike - they'll tour around every continent - i hope we'll able to ride with/next to it in the Alps next spring/summer. The front and lights will stay as at the prototye - that'll be a sharp and unique bike on the streets. Here the most clear explanations from the chief Yamaha Europe: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd9gORsHxbY The T700 will be at the local dealers at december 2018 - the Swiss Yamaha-Ambassador promised that @ EICMA. I'm superhappy that the bike isn't too much reduced from the T7 - and i'm really happy to see and hear it in Action . from Switzerland Andy
