The prototype is 90% the final bike - they'll tour around every continent - i hope we'll able to ride with/next to it in the Alps next spring/summer. The front and lights will stay as at the prototye - that'll be a sharp and unique bike on the streets. Here the most clear explanations from the chief Yamaha Europe:

The T700 will be at the local dealers at december 2018 - the Swiss Yamaha-Ambassador promised that @ EICMA.

I'm superhappy that the bike isn't too much reduced from the T7 - and i'm really happy to see and hear it in Action .
