belly pan ?

does anyone on here no if the xt660 and mt-07 have the same widths at the correct points as to where you would secure a belly pan ?


im thinking of modding an MT-07 belly pan to suit he xt660 , but before I jump in a splash the cash etc.


thought id better ask

Not sure but I would guess not, cos the bikes share the engine but the frames look different to me. The MT is much lower. You could find a proper Yamaha one on Flea Bay surely??

(Now sold on, sob) 2011 Blue XT660X with gold wheels, was 26,500 km.
Engine mods: K&N Stage 1 filter, DNA Stage 2 filter, snorkel removed, Kev fuel mod fitted.
Plus: smoked Puig screen, Yam aluminium sump guard, Yamaha / Acerbis handguards, Givi Trekker aluminium side cases, Leo Vince X3 cans plus Kev front fork mod and Fender Xtender. Just fitted Michelin Road Pilot 3 tyres.

SOLD the XTX for a Super Ten 1200. And just bought a Raptor 700 so staying on here for some tips....

xt660x / xt660r

are these bikes identical in size ?


im after a belly pan and can only find one for an xt660r


being new at this im not into the technical stuff as yet , any help appreciated

When you say MT-07 do you mean the MT-03 that has the 660 single motor? Because the MT-07 is a twin & completely different.

B&B do a Bashplate to fit the 660X or the 660R.

It looks as though these fit if you have the under slung standard exhaust pipes, as some others only fit if you have fitted a high level exhaust.

my bike has high level twin cans - werx


if it goes for the right money I might take a chance
