Engine tuning
Hello,
I'm starting to feel that my xt 660 feels a tiny bit underpowered (Hp/torque wise) for my driving. I really like the torque of the bike but it feels like there is no power up top. My driving: Wheelies are a large part of my driving, i also like to do hard accelerations. Now when i graduated i don't use the bike for commuting, so most of the time when im out riding, the bike runs hard (wheelies, Full throttle etc.). My bike: Yamaha XT660X 2007 with 40,000km on the clock Stage 1+2 Filters Slipons (straight through style) Power commander V 02 Optimizer Dynojet Autotune ![]() I'm wondering what the next step in tuning is. I've been thinking about : big bore (couse the milage) Seems to cost 700euro (OTR) 104mm Stage 1 cam. Building a stage 3 filter setup. Turbo conversion, aiming for 80hp on the wheel in that case. Otr header What do you guys think is the best way to go? I've spent a lil bit too much money to sell the bike. Hope someone can give me advise. Best regards, Victor |
