Clutch switch bypass?

So I've just replaced my clutch switch after having accidentally snapping the plastic housing. To add to the fun the male pins off the loom block were fused into the female block and snapped off. I barely by the skin of my teeth managed to re pin the block and all seems good.

But should it do the same again I'm stuffed, if I need to fix it again can a get away with just joining the loom wires together? The side stand has already been disabled.
