Hi Ed, for the pictures - download free 'Photobucket', log on via your Facebook and upload your pics. You then copy the link in the bottom of 4 boxes on the right of the picture (once loaded) and paste it in this box. And Viola, there's your picture shared.

Nice pics. I like mods on this Ten (Seat, front mudguard).

What is the model of your tyre please?

Hi Michael, they're (German mad)e Mefo MFE99s. Very similar to the Heidenau's in tread pattern and a true dual purpose tire. They wear very slowly and therefore a favourite for long distance travel. The down side is its really hard to get on the rim. Having said that, it has saved me when I could travel 10 miles on a back flat because the sidewalls are so strong. This is my second set and I won't change. More than happy with them.

Oops sorry Michael, just realised you're looking at Ed's bike. Better leave it to him to explain his tyres. The seat is the Touratech High version.

Ignore that last comment, you must be looking at my bike if you're talking about the front black fender. Ed's one is the standard Yamaha one. Mine is a UFO black straight off eBay, very cheap as I remember. Stops the air through the fork gap some complain about. I had to take the tow point off to point it. I used the 2 front holes of the fender as it came but had to drill 2 new back holes to fit it.

Another view of the UFO front fender. This was last year in Rocroi France on the way to Luxembourg. Still the old saddle and was the one thing I realised I needed to change next for sure.

Thank for your reply.
Yes : It was about your bike (not this of Ed - but she is very beautifull too)
He has Metzeler Karoo 3 rear tyre I think (I have same).

I will see your tyre. The tread pattern seems to be very good for my usage.

I just ordered Off The Road front fender in black color for my black ten ! (I don't know if it is authorized to put a link to a merchant website ... If not: say it to me please).
