Hi guys, im about to buy a used tenere 2011 with 20.000Km on it and it seems to be in good shape. I have found that this machine differs slightly in the exhaust sound from what im used to as my girlfriend has her own tenere.

Her Tennie exhaust sound from a 2011 and 12.000Km of use is the typical taca taca taca from a single with some differentiating notes at the end, you know, the PFIUU sound... from the tennie. In her bike this "PFIUU" is not heard all the time, just at times when you slow down. i believe this is the normal sound.

But the bike i plan to buy sounds this way all the time and this is something i found different as soon it was started.

Could anyone give a clue?
