Question Insurance question

Hi all, my insurance is due in a few weeks; as well as me Ten I have now acquired a TDM850 and want to get a multiple (well, two) bike policy but am also looking for a company that'll look kindly upon the fact that the Ten has Kev mods and DNA filters as well as an aftermarket can. Presumably someone here has been in this situation - have you had good results with anyone?
Ta in advance....

I have recently renewed with Carole Nash to include mt CB250 Honda on a multi-bike policy. No problem with additional bits to my knowledge!

Cheers for that. I'll give them (and the other "big" bike insurers) a go.

Usually, they'll let you off a couple of bits, but once you start telling them about fuel modifications they get a little jittery.

I've nearly always had 2+ bikes, and for a long time I used multibike policies. However a few years ago I tried with some different combinations of multi-policies or multiple policies, the multibike ones usually came up cheaper.

BUT, with a bit of forward planning on multiple policies and the addition of no-claims bonus build up I found that over time the multibike became more expensive that multi policy option.

Today I run multiple policies and the multibike policies can't compete. The main reason is, different insurers offer different rates on different bikes. With multibike policies you are almost certainly subsidising one expensive policy with a cheaper one. With multiple policies you can opt for the two best (or cheapest if thats your aim) policies.

I also stagger my policies so they don't need paid at the same time.

I've got insurance through Wicked Quotes, underwriters for Carole Nash.

They are aware of every single modification to the bike, and it costs me the princely sum of 95 a year with 5 years NCB, this is my first big bike, I don't drive a car and I'm 34.

I'd try them.
