ThunderDownUnder is on a distinguished road
5 day high country trip

Evening All

Been a while since I last posted :-(

Anyway... I've booked myself into this http://maschine.com.au
TransTerra 2015

It's only 5 days and they carry all luggage so that's a nice plus.

Still gotta be self sufficient on the track with fuel, water, food and spares etc.

I've purchased a Tough box which I'll mount onto the rear rack and carry everything in.

2 questions:

1) How to carry extra fuel? I've got a 1 litre stainless bottle for emergency but being round it's an awkward shape
2) what sort of basic spares should I carry?
I'm thinking .. A set of levers and shifter as basic.. Any thing else?

Given that there is a backup truck it's not so bad but they obviously only carry basic/generic stuff them selves

Any advice appreciated

Thanks
Marc
