Delkevic exhausts
Bought a set of oval Delkevic exhausts for my XtX about aa month ago. As soon as I put them on they were way too loud with the baffles in. I've ran them for a couple of hundred miles but they're too noisy. I did email Delkevic to ask whether they had any other baffles for less noise but they never responded to any of my emails.
I've now took them off and I'm using the standard pipes again. Anyone else found them overly loud? |

If you get no response I'd suggest you remove the baffles (if they have some) and see if you can modify it

The baffles are just tubes. They have no mesh at the bottom like the usua baffles they just have a closed rounded end. The baffles don't have a collar around the end like I've had previously.
Haven't got the means to modify myself, I'd have to buy off the shelf |

I've quitened after-market exhausts in the past by removing the baffle and wrapping some exhaust wadding around it and securing it with stainless zip ties.
Incidently I got the wadding from Delkevic. Better known as DK Motorcycles in Stoke, UK |

I don't want to be spending any more on the bike as I may now sell it over winter so will just stick with the standard cans.
