Mate, while AirHawks are excellent, I've discovered over a period of about 6 of them that they are prone to fatigue punctures if you're heavy like me (rough terrain probably doesn't help...). I've tried poly and neoprene, and various air settings, with the same end result. Sure, they are repairable, and really comfy, but I reckon your solution is pure genius!

Great work Greatescape, looking just about set for Ireland.
Just wondering if your front right indicator has been knocked as it' appears to be hanging down slightly. I had both my rear indicators replaced under warranty as I found them hanging by their wires half way through a ride but they hadn't even been hit by anything. I think other people have had them drop off of their own accord as well. |

Thanks Desert Racer, that's exactly what happened. ...I just went into the garage in the morning and the indicator was just hanging. No one else been in there and no impact! I'll tape it and try under warranty when I get back. Steve

I like a good bodge of an existing product. did something similar but with one of the small blow up camping seats, they work a treat for long distance stuff but a could never get on with them on the corners, just no feeling.
