My chain has not managed well during my tour of Scandinavia due, Ahem...in part at least, to my lack of care
I'm just looking at Chain and Sprocket kits but see that most (if not all) chains seem to come split. It's been many moons since I changed a chain and sprocket and I just wanted to check, do split chains still come with simple spring clip for the joining link or do I need a rivetting tool (is there a proper name for this) to make the join?
I think an investment in a Scott Oiler may be on the cards. Just need to check if these are effective for O ring chains. Any comments from Scott Oiler users?
