Transmission noise

I just replaced chain and sprockets on my Tenere to new 525 sprockets and 525 O ring chain that had very little prior use plus put in poly cush drive 'rubbers', bearings all seemed fine but now there is a pronounced whine coming from the bike somewhere. Chain is adjusted correctly I reckon, can't think of any other reason for this noise. It's quite annoying :-(
