Any ideas to silence MTC can?

Hello again!
I just want to ask a bit silly question, but.. Does anybody insert some db-killer in MTC sigle can? With stock "dbkiller" it is still VERY loud, and for the long distance riding it is just TOO ANNOYING and painful... Any ideas? Thanks.. I just preparing for the RTW trip and I do not want to go with stock silencer...

I think it was Steved who had Mtc make him a special baffle to have the can quieter. The other thing is you can blank off the end of the baffle and drill holes in the tubing

Actually you are right, it is too loud.

When I got mine it was too loud, I went back to the factory in my van and they supplied me with a pepperpot plate that was to be inserted between the link pipe and the silencer. It did quieten down but the restriction was too much and the bike performed very badly.
I removed the pepperpot and went back again but this time with the bike and rode straight into the workshop and revved the engine hard............."very loud isn't it" was the reply. So they cut the inserted baffle down which did have some improvement and I decided to try it.
I tried to live with the noise for some time but I couldn't hear my GPS at speed properly and last year I did some quite long rides, the can had to go. I'm now back on the standard set up. I can hear myself think, fuel economy has gone up but performance has not changed............and I really do mean that, performance has not changed!
If you want to make your engine perform better then the DNA filter and Kev mod are all that is needed. Save your money for other things more important like beer
The can and link pipe is available for anyone that is deaf.

Oh yeah and I could have wasted more time going back to MTC but they have had their chance, more than I would give anyone else. End of!

i have the carbon oval mtc road legal exhaust bought by Captmoto .
the exhaust is very lightweight and quiet enough with the db killer on but the bike has problem revving at high rpm (kev mode and dna filter allready installed ) . i was about to buy a spare db killer from mtc through e-bay to experiment but they asked 25 + 30 eyros for shipping which is stealing .
anyway i search my garage and found a small silencer a bought a few year ago . the silencer looks like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Mo...item4625a8930e
i cut a small part 4-5 cm and plug it directly to the inner side of the existing db killer . i was amazed that the parts fitted directly ! i also removed the metal plate at the begining of the silencer which must cause the revving problem .

now the exhaust is even more quiet and motor revs way better than before .
