Changing Coolant
Hi there,
I have just bought a low-km 2010 Tenere and want to make sure everything is fresh before doing any serious riding. I went through the standard owners manual and it says that coolant changes must be done by a Yamaha shop. Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any tricks to doing this yourself, or is it just a straight forward coolant change as per any other bike? All input much appreciated! David |

Changing Coolant
It's dead simple. Just undo the drain screw on the water pump housing and let it drain. You have to take the expansion tank off to tip the coolant out. Then fill it up (rad and expansion tank) check the levels, start the bike and warm it up, let it cool, then check levels again.
