Xt660z

Hello,

I have a couple of questions about my new to me XT660Z

1. I have read many reviews where it is mentioned that the XT660Z has a high riding height. However with 1.87mtr height I find the XT on the low side, both feet are flat on the ground. I also experience speed wobble / head shacke (I will get into this later) so I was thinking maybe the bike has been lowered. I measured the link on the rear shock and measured 15.5cm / 6.1inch is this stock or aftermarket.

2. While investigating my speed wobble issue I saw that the (rear wheel) sprocket holder can move approx 5mm in regard to the cush drive. Is this a normal thing on an XT?

3. I already found out that suspension is not to my liking, my dealer can install a hyperpro combi kit. This means progressive spring on the rear and new springs and different oil in the fork. Cost is 400 / 500 / $500 is this usefull? or do the forum experts recommend something different.

4. The bike is equipped with a DNA stage 2 filter. Will this pose a problem when driving offroad?

5. I have speed wobble issues from 80mph / 120km/h and up, Bike is equiped with Conti trail attack 2 about 50% thread left, 2.4Bar / 35psi rear shock is at max 9 (highest point on ring) front suspension is also at max 0 turns. My fork is level with the top clamp.

Thanks for your time,

Many regards,
Jarno
