Engline bars plus sump guard question....

I have an alloy sump guard fitted to my 2011 XTX and I just purchased a set of Givi engine protection bars, mainly as I wish to fit a pair of driving lights to improve night vision.
(see http://www.givi.it/attachfile/conten....man_tn359.pdf)

BUT looking at the way the Givi bars fit, it looks like I cannot have both. The Givi engine bars fit onto the front engine mount bolts so very near to the exhaust header pipes. But the alloy sump guard also covers the same area so I will maybe have to cut away some of the alloy sump guard so that it does not clash with the engine bars.

My question is has anyone else fitted both, and if so please can you let me have a pic so that I can have an idea of how I can fit both before I start?????

Thanks for any help!!!
