Fitting XTX wheels on a XTR? Possible?
I tried searching some both on google and here on XT660.com but i havent been able to find anything.
Is it possible to fit wheels from a XT660X -08 to a XT660R -08? If not bolt on, what diffrenences are there? Are there any quick mods that might fix it? |

Yes it is and not as hard as people think, the back fits straight on and you will need to fit the front brake disc from your R onto the X wheels, think that was it, dont go messing about with offsets on the front because if you measure them before fitting the X wheels you will notice that they are slightly different anyway

i'm looking for a 17" front wheel..
I run shinko 705s they work well on the seal so can't see the point in a rear wheel... 17" front with a Shinko 120/17 705 on it.. then a quick wheel change for long seal trips still work on gravel... I have got a 18"..wondering about useing that would need a carryer turned up for the disc... Not looked at to hard as it's a gold rim.. silver rear & gold front... look a bit out of place...
